The HITCH project has published a document giving an overview of the current state of the art in interoperability certification and labelling in eHealth. This includes approaches in different European countries as well as in the United States. Also, the different players organising the certification in the different countries are described. Last month, all HITCH partners came together for a meeting at the European IHE Connectathon 2010 in Bordeaux. Besides the planning meeting, some partners not coming from the field of interoperability testing, had the possibility to join the Connectathon a few days to get an impression, how interoperability testing is done within the IHE community. This is also of interest for the whole HITCH project since during next year's European Connectathon in Pisa some HITCH roadmap work done on test tools should be evaluated in a real word setting. Also, in Pisa there will be an international workshop for stakeholders of eHealth interoperability testing that is organized by HITCH.
